Post Hole Digger
Have you ever built a fence? You have to know what you are doing in order to plumb a line to get it straight. You also have to do the hard work in digging holes at least every 6 feet to secure the foundational element, the posts that support the fence! To do this you need a Post Hole Digger and arm and back strength to use it! The holes generally need to be 32 inches deep and able to accommodate a 4×4 piece of lumber. It’s daunting if you have not done it before.
I thought about this while preparing to write my first blog post. Its not something I have done before. Sure I have done a bit of business writing, but that’s not quite as personal. I’m writing a blog to contribute to the conversation and represent my company.
It’s intimidating because I wonder if I am interesting enough or expert enough to encourage people to read and respond? Do I have the requisite knowledge or insight? Do I have the strength and determination to persevere? Do I have the time?
I am a small business owner and provide services to other small business owners. I have a career full of experience and I have a new passion to give back as a contributing member of the community. It’s all about service, value add and customer sat. Do I have it in me? You bet I do!
What do you think?
